Matty Matheson: Home Style Cookery

Great buy for your guy, or gal who wants to indulge in a good recipe.

I happened to stumble upon Matty during my extended time at home during this pandemic thing. Being at home allowed me to spend more time in the kitchen and honing my skills at my favorite hobby...cooking. I was constantly watching YouTube and reading through whatever recipes and ideas I could find. I remember seeing Matty in a "First We Feast" episode I believe, and became an instant fan, which ultimately led up to watching so many of his videos, as well as discovering the news of this book coming out, which I immediately pre-ordered! After a LOT of waiting, it finally arrived. This book is crammed with fantastic recipes from front to back. The way everything's broken down and explained gives me a great sense of confidence to tackle things that I may have thought a little too advanced for me to pull of. Then, there are simpler things like pickling and sandwiches, which are taken up a level and/or just made easy to understand. I plan to make my first dish from this book this weekend, and cannot wait! i can absolutely say, that I already love this book, look forward to using it and will cherish it! Thanks for this, Matty!

The intro of this book is amazing. I’ve been a fan of Marty’s for a long time and to have a book like this is great. The first book definitely was different to say the least, but this one I think this is a book if anyone enjoys eating and cooking, they should have this in their collection. The book is full of beautiful photos and it’s done so well I’m glad to have found this book at a good deal on Amazon.

Gift receiver is a fan of Matty's, and has his other cookbooks, so this completes the set.

We fackin LOVE Matty! Our entire family watches his videos on YouTube - including our 14 month old daughter who gets a kick outta his yelling lol I never know what to get my boyfriend for Christmas because we never want anything. This past Christmas though, I said fudge it and I got him this because he is an amazing cook and is always wanting to try out Matty's recipes. LISTEN, I have never ever before seen my boyfriend - 6 ft tall, fully bearded, built like a lumberjack who plays football with bears, construction worker - lay down on the floor on his tummy, feet up swinging like a giddy school girl, flipping through the pages of a cookbook and audibly making noises like "oooooooo! Mmmm that looks so flocking good!" I was ecstatic! Every recipe he's made so far has been DELICIOUS! So, while this was a present for him it was really a present for me and the kids too because we get to eat the results of these bombarse recipes! I highly, highly recommend this book! I also highly recommend Matty's YouTube channel. Side note; Matty - if you read this - how the h-e-double hockey sticks did you not realize you have a wasp nest in there?! Bruh. Bro. Come on man.
